Our Finance Manager asked me about what financial documentation is required once the portal opens for the ARP grant. Will the grant budgets will look like the NEA project budgets (as in the Grants for Arts Projects - https://www.arts.gov/sites/default/files/Project-Budget-Instruction-rev2-5.14.21.pdf)? Any insight is appreciated to determine if we have adequate staff time to prepare!

For the SAM/Grants.gov info, you also need to assure that the organizational name you're using there matches the name according to the articles of incorporation that are on file with the state of Maine. It needs to match exactly.

I'm part of a museum, but not an arts museum, with a pretty significant arts project (my mission is actually science based). I am curious how much background is needed for my organization and project to help make the arts connection.

I want to add that if you are new to an organization and haven’t been set up as an Entity Administrator, you’ll need to submit a notarized letter from an authorized org representative. Then wait for SAMS to process.

Question: If we are a College of Art with a gallery attached, what is the best structure to apply for ARP funding to support the gallery. Can we apply for gallery operating expenses and cite just the gallery staff and operating costs related to the gallery and not the larger College operating costs; or do we need to apply using the project-based option to target the gallery only.
